I needed something good! So, I searched countless tech sites and forums for the best software to help recover my files from this "RAW" hard drive. Wiping away the tears, I began to scour the internet for the best data recovery software. No matter what I tried, Windows would just not recognize my drive.
I desperately tried anything and everything I could think, but was unsuccessful. Windows said my WD drive was now "RAW!" Well, I quickly began to panic, wondering what I was going to do? I couldn't lose these files! (See this was no ordinary drive, it contained EVERY baby picture of both my daughters, plus the lightroom catalog which contained all the edits I had made over the years.) Ok.so I'm someone who usually ALWAYS backs up their files, especially my photos!! So you can imagine how my heart sank when I plugged in my older WD External Hard Drive to my Windows 10 PC and saw a lovely pop-up stating:
